MAUI AQUARIUM - Maui Ocean Center, the Hawaiian Aquarium, is a great activity during any vacation to Maui, whether a family vacation, a romantic honeymoon, a relaxing retreat or an adventurous tour. Maui Ocean Center complements many of Maui’s most popular activities, including snorkel trips and whale watches. The aquarium is about a half an hour or less from most condos and hotels on Maui; located about 20 minutes from Kihei and 30 minutes from Lahaina.

Touched with a steadfast belief that they could capture the excitement of the world below the tropical waters, and bring it to the awareness of the public at large, these enthusiasts have created a new phenomenon in marine observation.

For more than two decades, Coral World has been the world leader in underwater viewing systems. The company has developed the only undersea observatories in the Western hemisphere and in the Red Sea. Two of the company's marine parks include the world's longest underwater acrylic tunnels.

The company specializes in creating ecologically friendly tropical life systems in symbiotic environments. Dining options at Maui Ocean Center range from a quick snack at the open-air Reef Café to a sit-down lunch at the ocean-view Seascape Ma'alaea Restaurant. The aquarium and the restaurant are also available for private functions in the evenings.
