    Summit Sunrise or Day Bike Downhill

    MAUI Activities - Enjoy the beauty of Haleakala Crater's summit, followed by your bike ride, which will start at the 6,500 elevation of Mount Haleakala. A life time experience which cannot be missed!!

    Includes:
    • Round trip transfer from your hotel or condominium.
    • Continental breakfast, pastries, and hot beverages are provided at our office location.
    • Downhill bicycle, windbreakers, gloves and helmets are provided.
    • Haleakala National Park tour ascends to the Summit of Haleakala (10,023’) through the National Park.
    • Your guides will be with you to answer any questions and to entertain with fascinating Polynesian history, Haleakala National Park and Haleakala Legends.
    • From the crater rim enjoy a stunning view of Haleakala’s cinder cones and volcanic features 3000’ below.
    • Tour Haleakala National Park and House of The Sun Visitor Center at the crater’s rim.
    • Tour continues to the exit of Haleakala National Park.


    TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

    • Downhill bike safari begins at the top of Haleakala Ranch (6500’) after your National Park tour.
    • Bike safari coasts down the exciting 21 switchbacks on the western slopes of Haleakala, the world’s largest resting volcano.
    • Riders will enjoy full bi-coastal panoramas of Maui’s central valley and West Maui Mountains with photo stops to capture Maui’s beautiful landscape and the open range of Haleakala Ranch.
    • Bike safari through pine and eucalyptus forests. The riders will experience the wonderful Upcountry communities of Kula and Pukalani.
    • Enjoy a no-host lunch and rest stop at Sunrise Market and Flower Farm.
    • Bike safari continues after lunch with highlights of Kula, Upcountry, grazing cattle and the beautiful Maui landscapes.
    • As the riders finish the Bicycle Safari above Pukalani, they will relax Safari style as their guides give them a van tour from Pukalani with information and history of Maui’s sugar and pineapple plantation days. This Safari van tour will complete the Maui Downhill Haleakala Super Day Safari.
    • Tour time is 8 to 9 hours from hotel pick up to return.
