    Maui Scuba Molokini Dive (Maalaea)

    MAUI ACTIVITIES - Experience scuba diving on Maui with the Maui Diamond II and enjoy a great introductory discounted price with Ohana Fun!Hawaii! Your crew will make your scuba diving and snorkeling experiences in Maui truly memorable, as you explore the tropical Hawaiian waters from a 40' dive boat.  You will get to go diving and snorkeling at some of  the most spectacular dive sites around Maui. This crew loves to dive and you'll get the "dive bug" once you've been out with your new "Maui dive buddies"!

    Dive sites change every day, depending on surf & current conditions, but a typical schedule includes a first dive at Molokini Crater, followed by a second dive somewhere along the South Maui shoreline (usually at a location where we will be able to see turtles!).  Maui dive sites also vary based on weather, diver experience levels, special requests, etc.  For those who have already been to Molokini there  are many different sites inside (and out) of the crater, so for those who are repeat guests, be sure to mention where you've already been, and your captain will make every effort to present you with something "new".  Keep in mind also that no two dives are ever alike!

    Your tour will take about an hour to get to the first dive site, and usually during  that time you'll get familiarized with our equipment (if you haven't brought your own) and you'll be briefed  on what you can expect to see underwater.  You'll also get to relax, nibble on breakfast snacks, and get to know your felow diving buddies and crew members!

    You will then get to experience the beautiful, clear, warm and ever so changing Maui underwater world as we'll get to "business" - to give you those two unforgettable dives you signed up for!!

    Fair Warning: SCUBA DIVING IS ADDICTIVE!!!

    After your dives and after you've worked up an appetite, you'll get to enjoy lunch. Your tour  usually returns to the harbor around 1:00 PM and upon arrival, you will get to "walk the plank"!  Your staff will hand you your freshly rinsed equipment (for those who brought their own) and will also be happy to provide dive stats and sign logbooks if you'd like.  Don't forget to ask for your free Maui Diamond II sticker!

    Your Certifide 2-Tank dive includes mask, snorkel, fins, 2 tanks and wetsuit. BCD and/or regulator rental will cost an additional $15.00 (Please add it to your order if you'll need equipment)

    ALL PARTICIPANTS SIGNED UP FOR A 2-TANK CERTIFIED DIVE MUST PRESENT THEIIR SCUBA CERTIFICATION CARDS UPON CHECK-IN.

    Introductory Divers: 
    For those who are not yet certified, but would love the opportunity to try this great sport out, especially in calm and warm Maui waters, a 1-tank introductory diver might just be the ticket... 
    During an introductory dive, a PADI certified instructor will familiarize you with the basics, on your way to the first dive site. You'll also get to complete some simple underwater skills, and awaaaay you go - you'll be ready to dive by the time you arrive at the second dive site. As an introductory diver all you'll need will be a towel, bathing suit and a completed DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING FORM (Please print the form and bring it with you).

    Introductory divers get to explore this new world at a maximum ratio of 4:1 and dive with their own instructor, separate from the certified divers.  Until certified, the maximum depth limit is 40 feet and guess what?  All the good stuff is in the top 40 feet anyway, so let's go diving! So, you'll get to snorkel at the first location and dive at the second.

    Your Intro-Scuba tour includes all necessary scuba gear and instructions.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Scuba diving can be a strenuous activity and as such, there are some medical-related prerequisites that must be verified.  Please download and complete the Discover Scuba Diving registration form and medical questionnaire.  If any of the medical conditions apply to you, or you have concerns, please visit your physician and have them provide a diving medical clearance. Click here for the forms you will need to provide your physician. 

    The minimum age to participate in this Maui Introductory dive is 10 years old.

    SNORKELERS:
    While the Maui Diamond is primarily a dive boat, snorkelers are also welcome! You'll also get the same great information to have fun in the water, by a marine naturalist. The captain will stay on the boat while you're in the water, so you can rest assured someone will always have an eye on you.

    Your snorkeling tour includes your snorkeling gear and instructions.

    ALSO INCLUDED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS:
    Light breakfast, fruits, deli-style lunch and juice/sodas/water
