    West Maui ATV Adventure

    Get dirty and enjoy a thrill as you ride your ATV on West Maui's rugged mountains through cattle pastures and private road trails.Choose between two tours:

    1. ATV Only Tour (Daily @ 7:30 AM, 10 AM, 1 PM & 4 PM)
    Experience West Maui's only ultimate off-road adventure. Enjoy a ride in your own Polaris Ranger through cattle pastures on private dirt roads and trails.You'll stop at "The Garden," where a short hike will take you to the cliff lookout, a spectacular scenic view of the beautiful tropical landscapes of Kahoma Valley and the West Maui Mountains. Relax with drinks, snacks and tropical fruits at "The Garden." Gear up, get ready, get dirty and experience the time of your life!


    Total off road ATV drive time for this tour is approximately 1hour 25 minutes.


    2. ATV & Waterslide Combo (Daily @ 10 AM, 1 PM & 4 PM) **Not available until further notice
    Following your off-road adventurous ride up the mountain, what better way to rinse and cool off then a refreshing dip in the Kahoma Ranch fresh water Reservoir, after going down a thrilling mountain water slide?  Enjoy snacks, tropical fruits seasonally grown in "The Garden", and beverages while relaxing at picnic tables. You'll get to see native plants in their natural environment and learn about habitat restoration efforts. The combination of your ATV tour and waterslide will make for a memorable experience like no other. - Total off road ATV drive time for this tour is approximately 45 minutes.  Total time at waterslide is approximately 40 minutes.

     

    ATV Tour:
        2 1/2 hour tour which includes transportation to and from check-in location. From the shop to the barn, approx. 5-10 min. drive.
        Following an orientation, all drivers must successfully drive a proficiency course. Both driver and passenger will have opportunities to switch off driving throughout the tour as there are 3 to 4 stops along the way for picture taking and resting.
        Drive up to "The Garden" where a lookout has been built into Kahoma Valley, the views are breathtaking. We've planted native plants and posted informative signs throughout the garden. Stop for approx. 15-20 min. guides walk around the garden introducing the native plants and culture. Photo opportunities here also.
        Guests enjoy refreshments at the garden which consist of granola/energy bars, fruits, and beverages.

    Vehicles:
    Each Polaris Ranger can sit a maximum of 2 people with a maximum recommended total weight of passengers not to exceed 500lbs.

    Equipment:
        2009 Polaris Rangers
        All three-seater vehicles.
        500cc fuel injected 4-stroke, 4x4
        Automatic Transmission, Safety roll bar cage, 3 point safety harness.
        Weight capacity is 500 lbs. per vehicle.

    Land:
        600 acres.
        Tour goes up to 1800ft. above sea level.
        Terrain of tour is rugged, with tight turns, rocky roads, mud puddles and a stream.
        Trail is not paved, natural dirt roads.

    Conditions:
        Definitely an off-road adventure.
        Clients will get very dirty and possibly soaking wet (how wet they get is controlled by the driver and how they choose to drive through mud and stream).
        Slight chance of rain, we do not provide raincoats or ponchos.
        Clients MUST understand that this is an off-road adventure and they WILL get dirty and wet!
        We do not provide showers to get completely cleaned up. We have sinks and paper towels to wash hands, arms, and face.
        Rental clothing of camo pants and shirts available for $5.00 wash fee. We do not provide shoes.
        Recommend bringing towel for rental car.

    Tour Requirements:
    Experience not necessary. Instructions, safety brief and equipment orientation will be provided before tour begins.
    Be sure your clothing and personal items will withstand the dirt, the mud, the water and the bouncing around!
    We will not be responsible for personal property.
    Closed-toe shoes are required for your safety (we provide mandatory eye protection and helmets).
    A swimsuit and towel is needed for the 11:00 am and 2:00 pm ATV/Waterslide tours.
    Rental clothing (shirt and pants are available for a $5 wash fee).
    Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license. 16 year old drivers must also be accompanied by an adult with a valid driver's license as a passenger.
    Children as young as 5 years old may ride as a passenger with a responsible adult or with a guide (based on availability).
    Pregnant women or anyone with heart, neck or back problems are not allowed to participate.
    Recommended weight per vehicle not to exceed 600 lbs.
