    Tale of Two Palaces Adventure

    Oahu Activities - Step back in time on this unforgettable and exciting adventure as you visit the historic highlights of the Kingdom of Hawaii.

    Traveling into the lush Nuuanu Valley, our first stop is Queen Emma's Summer Palace where a past era comes alive. Next, we drive through a tropical rainforest en route to the world famous Pali Lookout.

    After driving through a spectacular tree-tunnel we arrive at Hawaii's sacred Royal Mausoleum,"Mauna", the final resting place of six of the kingdom's last eight ruling monarchs.

    Then we go on a hour -long journey inside the ornate Iolani Palace, the only Royal Palace in the United States, to discover its splendid treasures. You will also see the historic sites of the legendary King Kamehameha's statue and the unique Kawaiahao Church, "the Westminster Abbey of Hawaii".

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
    Enjoy the comfort of Air Conditioning vehicles with a maximum of 12 participants.
    Tour includes admission to both palaces, roundtrip transportation from any Waikiki hotel and a bottled spring water.
    We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and walking shoes (tennis shoes or sneakers are best).

    Tour operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
    Approximate tour times:  Pick-up: 8AM  Return: 1PM
    Length of Tour: 5 hours
    Distance Walked: 0.75 mile
    Total walking time: one hour
    Trail rating/Difficulty: Easy
    This tour is not recommended for children under the age of five years old.
