Available from Maui, Kauai or Big Island - The best way to experience the Island of Oahu is by taking a day tour to Oahu's Pearl Harbor's Arizona Memorial, Dole Pineapple Plantation, and the exciting Polynesian Cultural Center! Now, enjoy this awesome special rate departing from Maui (Kahului Aiport), Kauai (Lihue Airport) or Big Island (Kona Airport).
Start off by listening to a live historical narration from your expert tour guide on the events that preceded the Pearl Harbor attacks. Watch a short film displaying actual footage from the day the Pearl Harbor invasion occurred while sitting in a cozy theater. Climb aboard a Navy shuttle that will take you out to the sentimental Arizona Memorial, which gracefully sits atop the USS Arizona battleship wreckage. Peer overboard and see the "Black Tears of the Arizona;" the oil that continuously seeps into the aquamarine waters of the harbor in commemoration of the 1,177 men who were lost that tragic day.
Drive by Oahu's grand Diamond Head Crater that has been extinct for thousands of years. Enjoy Oahu's historic Haleiwa town, home to the world famous Matsumoto shave ice. I think that this tour would be a great addition to anyone's vacation. There were so many great things that we got to see and do. My favorite part was the Polynesian Culture Center, I really learned a lot there.
