Kaanapali Stand Up Paddle Lessons

MAUI ACTIVITIES - Enjoy a private or semi-private SUP (Stand Up Paddle) lesson on beautiful Kaanapali Beach!  Royal Hawaiian Surf Academy is one of Maui's oldest and most reliable surf & SUP schools, featuring a team who specializes in surf and stand up paddle board lessons.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced Stand Up Paddle rider, you will have a great time as you glide over the calm waters of Kaanapali or even catch some waves! You'll enjoy the views of West Maui Mountains, Lanai and Molokai islands, not to mention the chances to encounter Maui's ocean creatures like turtles, manta rays, dolphins and humpback whales (in season).

Certified in CPR, first aid, and water safety (State and County standards), your personable instructors are some of best in the business.  You might even have the chance to learn from a celebrated guest instructor, one of the nationally recognized pro surfers who occasionally come to teach whenever back home on Maui.

Your lesson will start with an "on land" briefing to get you acquainted with your equipment, and it's also where you'll learn the basic SUP techniques. Your equipment will consist of the largest selection of new boards on the beach. Royal Hawaiian Surf Academy takes pride in delivering high quality equipment. You will experience the latest trends in the field and your satisfaction is guaranteed!

Group Lesson:  $75+tax
Private (1 Participant) $150+tax
Semi-Private (2-3 Participants) $250+tax
Semi-Private (Over 3 Pax - per additional pax) $75+tax

Duration:  1.5 hours
Classes available Monday through Saturday.

CLASSES AVAILABLE MONDAY THRU SATURDAY.  MORNING CLASSES OFFER THE CALMEST WATERS.  AFTERNOONS ARE SUBJECT TO TRADE WINDS AND OFFER MORE CHALLENGE (NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS)

Cancellations must be made by calling our concierge lines at 808-214-9283.  We will not accept cancellations via email, voicemail, fax or chatline. You must call at least 48 hours before the event for credit or refund to be applied. Some activities require a longer notice or will not allow cancellations once booking is made (each tour description will show exceptions to the 48 hour rule if applicable). Activities are 100% refunded in the event of your tour being canceled by the Activity Provider for any reason, such as weather, mechanical, etc. Ohana Fun!
