    Hyatt Luau Preferred Service

    MAUI Activities - Enjoy preferred service at one of Kaanapali's most exciting polynesian shows held at a five diamond resort, the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa.  Preferred service will include center seating, 2nd row of tables (perfect view to the stage), VIP check-in (no lines) and first ones to the buffet lines. 

    The sound of the conch, the beating of the drums, and the echoes of the Hawaiian chant signal the start of Hawaii's most exciting Luau. “Drums of the Pacific” Polynesian Spectacular (a Tihati Production) takes you on a journey through the islands of Polynesia, complete with a traditional imu ceremony and the exotic flavors of native Hawaiian cuisine. We feature authentic dances and music of the old Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti, Tonga, and Rarotonga in the hottest Lu'au Show in the Islands.

    Our Drums of the Pacific adventure includes:

        * Greeting with a shell lei and fresh mai tais or fruit punch for each guest
        * A delightful performance of Hawaiian music
        * Traditional arts and crafts demonstrations
        * Impressive torch lighting ceremony
        * Authentic imu ceremony - the unveiling of the main dish, Kalua Pua'a.
        * Friendly greetings by Royal Polynesians, followed by a Polynesian fashion show featuring the islands most exotic pareaus (sarong) in creative styles.

    4:30 PM: LUAU TICKET WINDOW OPENS (Luau Registration)
    Pictures taken by Maui Photo World available for purchase after the show

    5:30 PM - 5:45 PM: DOORS OPEN, GENERAL ADMISSION
    Shell lei greeting upon arrival with welcome Mai Tai or Tropical Fruit Punch

    5:30 PM - 8:30 PM: OPEN BAR & HAWAIIAN ARTS DISPLAY

    6:00 PM: HAWAIIAN WELCOME, TORCHLIGHTING & IMU CEREMONY
    (unearthing of freshly roasted pig)

    6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: DINNER BUFFET

    7:00 PM: TRADITIONAL “LAVA LAVA” WEAR FASHION SHOW & HULA LESSON
    W/AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION

    7:30 PM - 8:30 PM: POLYNESIAN REVUE with FIRE KNIFE DANCE FINALE
    (Photo opportunities with dancers and entertainers, following the show)

    Menu:

    all-you-can-eat buffet features Kalua Pork, Huli Huli Chicken, Mahi Mahi, Polynesian Rice, Vegetables Makamaka, Fresh Sliced Tropical Fruits, Soba Noodles, Roasted Wedges of Maui Onions,
    Lomi Lomi Salmon, Pacific Ahi Poke, Tossed Green Salad, and Poi (taro).
    Dessert bar: features Macadamia Nut Lu'au Cream Pie, Haupia with Toasted Coconut, Pineapple Cake and Bread Pudding
     

    The Hyatt Luau is currently available Tuesdays through Saturdays.
